There are two types of batteries in
Golf Cart, one is a repair battery and the other is a maintenance-free battery. It is necessary to add battery fluid to repair the battery, and also to add water to the battery, but water cannot be added at will, so some methods and details need to be paid attention to:
1. When using a flooded lead-acid battery, water will naturally wear out, causing the liquid level to drop, so it is necessary to regularly unscrew the liquid hole cover to check the liquid level height of each battery.
Tip: In any case, make sure that the plates in the battery are completely covered by the liquid level. The use of water shortage will greatly shorten the service life of the battery!
2. Under normal circumstances, the higher the ambient temperature, the higher the frequency of use of flooded lead-acid batteries, and the longer the use time, the faster the loss. Normal liquid level inspection cycle: It is recommended to check once every half a month in summer and once a month in winter. For batteries that have been used for more than one year, the inspection cycle should be shortened as appropriate.
3. Make sure to use distilled water or deionized water for liquid-rich lead-acid batteries. It is forbidden to use ordinary tap water, well water or river water, or add acid directly to the battery.
4. After charging, please refill the battery. If the battery exposes the liquid level before charging, please add an appropriate amount of pure water to cover the battery, and then add the liquid level to the specified height after charging is completed.
5. Determine the water level: Please add water at the bottom of the liquid level indicator (the plastic ring in the injection hole deep in the battery), about 3-4 mm above the bottom.
